Fuengirola
Reception and the other public rooms will be more spacious and the restaurant will normally also
cater for non-residents. Some room service can be expected, and some provision for business travellers. Thorough
vacuuming and dusting as well as consistent cleaning and monitoring procedures help win the battle. Mold and mildew
are kept at bay by wiping down shower walls and applying a contact disinfectant spray, especially along grout
lines. Hotel can be classified into transient, residential and semi residential hotels depending on the stay of a
guest. This is why the hotel rating does not mirror subjective aspects. Fuengirola isn't only for summer holidays
though. In the winter there's a different type of buzz, with plush, feathered dance shows at the Palace, and any
number of cosy tapas bars where you can appreciate the Spain beyond the skyscrapers. Add to all this a fine
selection of conference and meeting facilities, with a dedicated support team and sophisticated presentation
equipment, a purpose-built 10 acre team building arena and a stunning choice of entertainment in the cabaret room.
Swimming pools are a regular and a favourite feature in almost all the hotels, which are a perfect combination with
the Spanish sun. The popularity of the destination is such that any hotel is likely to be on the pricey side at any
given level of comfort. For a cosmopolitan atmosphere, try elsewhere in the old town; otherwise consider the
Fuengirola neighbourhood. It was located on the track Fuengirola, whose road fragments were observed at a site
called Cañada Real. Fuengirola Zoo is located inside the Parque del Sol, heart of the city, Avenida Camino José
Cela. In its interior in semi around 250 species of animals. Its boundaries include the Arroyo del Jardín stream in
the northeast, the Fuengirola River in the southeast, mountains in the north, the Mediterranean Sea in the south
and the town of Mijas in the west. It became an independent municipality in 1953 but its history goes much further
back.
